Class Introduction

This is a regular class for those who want to learn tufting from the basics.
Using a variety of yarns and tufting techniques, we create unique tufting pieces with textured expressions and special yarns and colors.
During the three-day curriculum, we will carefully teach you each step of the process, from laying the tufting cloth that forms the base to finishing the back side.
This class is recommended for beginners who want to start tufting in earnest, as well as those who have experience with tufting through self-study or a one-day trial.
In this class, you will complete a piece of art measuring 40cm x 60cm (or 50cm x 50cm).
You can take your finished work home on the third and final day.

Our studio runs workshops with the same curriculum as our affiliated studio in Seoul, Korea.

Here's what you'll learn:

1. Uneven expression
2. Expressions using special yarn
3. Tufting gun (cut & loop) and hand tufting tool can be used. *Only for points of 15cm square or less in total
4. Back side finishing

The process from reservation to completion of the work

STEP 1: Confirm the date (please contact us)
*If you apply without first confirming the dates, we may not be able to accept your reservation for the date you wish to book. Please be sure to contact us in advance.
STEP 2: Complete the payment
STEP 3: Submit your design

*The following cancellation fees will be charged for each person.

1. Cancellation between 7 and 4 days in advance: 5,500 yen
2. Up to 3 days in advance: 11,000 yen
3. 2 days before (2 days before) to the day of: Full amount (non-refundable)

Example of counting days: Reservation for 5/10

• Full refund until May 2nd
• Contact date: 5/3-5/6 ¥5,500
• Contact on 5/7 ¥11,000
• No refunds for contact after May 8th

For other tufting studios and experienced people

1. As long as you let us know when you make your reservation, there will be no problem with you coming to our studio.
   *If you do not let us know in advance, we may not be able to accommodate future workshops, such as those for studio managers or experienced people, so please let us know.
